Start with the organization, not an old link

Find a program through its current school, community host or official competition listing. Ask the organizer to confirm its current contact, the legal recipient of funds and the specific project being supported. An old news story or archived payment button does not establish today’s recipient.

Useful support takes several forms

Ask whether a program needs supervised technical mentoring, transport coordination, storage, workshop consumables or access to a suitable workspace. Offer only items the organizer has requested. Time spent helping a group document its tools, parts and test results can be as valuable as another box of equipment.

Before any financial gift

Confirm the recipient directly through a current official channel. Request a written description of how funds will be used and any terms attached to recognition. Do not assume a donation is tax deductible because an older website said so. This site provides information only; it has no payment checkout.

Find a current organizer; ask before offering

Start with FIRST’s official team and event search. For an older link about team 6933, its official competition profile identifies the team; it does not supply a verified payment recipient. FIRST suggests asking local schools, libraries or youth organizations about programs. Confirm the actual organizer’s current contact separately.

Is that useful, who may accept it, and are there restrictions or supervision requirements? Before any payment, please confirm the legal recipient and written purpose through your current official channel.
